Thank you CrystalsCakes5. I just poured the melted candy melts into the pan and moved it around a bit with a spatula to fill it in. I tried to smooth the back a bit. The flags and the dowels were attached with more candy melts after the mold had hardened. I hope this makes sense.

what can i use instead of candymelts? is it possible to use plain white cooking chocolate?
This cake is absolutely gorgeous!! Very Classy!! And how did you do the back of the mold, and how did you insert the flag pole sticks? Thanks

I love all the tiny flowers! Is the top a cookie - did you use a mold? So pretty!
Thank you. The top is made from Wilton candy melts using the castle cake pan as the mold.
new2bake - I think it would work the same, but might cost a bit more.
