Birthday Cake
This was my first cake I made for someone (3rd cake ever since taking Wilton classes). I ran into a lot of trouble with the baking. My 20-month old daughter ate part of the first cake I made. Then the 2nd cake I made came out too thin since I only used 2 cake mixes (long story). Finally I got it right. I used some of the flowers that I learned in Course 2. The primroses are made from Royal and the rest of the cake is BC. I also used this cake as my Course 2 final.
Another great looking cake!! My daughter has done the same thing before! :cry: I think it happens to all of us. You are really doing great. I can't wait to see more of your cakes :D
It looks great! My daughter has eaten part of one of my cakes before too.... I ran to the bathroom, and when I came back, it looked like a mouse had eaten off the side of my cake! Not to mention, she was supossed to be in bed, it was 11:00pm! But, you have to laugh! Great cake, thanks for sharing!
Even though I was quite upset, she didn't know it, and I couldn't help but laugh. Especially when she was pointing to it say "cupcakes mommy!" Thanks for your thoughts! :)
