The head was a 9 inch round cake, cut in half, sticked bottoms together and then shaped it at the sides and the nose. I have sloped the body, so most of the weight was on the body and the nose was resting on the leg. I held it in place with scewers. The reasoning behind the marble cake is that it is a firm cake and the melted chocolate make it even firmer. Normal sponge would have ended up disasterous.
