This was my first wedding cake. Please keep in mind, that I did NOT pick the colors. Other than the colors, I was very happy with the results. I learned allot from that cake.
Good job!! Did you use different size ribbons going up the sides?? The reason why I'm asking is I had a request for that on a cake but she only wants that on the bottom tier and just a wide ribbon on the other 2 tiers.. I'm doing it for next weekend, July 9th
I used the same width of each one. Does that make sense? The bottom large ribbon is the same size on each tier and so on.
Your too hard on yourself. I think the cakes is very pretty! Pink & black go very good together!
I like pink and black, but I don't think I would like it on my wedding cake. All that really mattered is that the bride loved it. She was a very sweet girl and such a cutie. I was just happy that I made my first wedding cake with no major issues. Yeah!
