wow...how do you get the characters like that ? is that piping gel? how are the characters propped up? i dont know if the same methods will work here in hot humid malaysia...

delithra: I traced the characters unto wax paper, and then used Royal Icing to fill in. I leave the wax paper attached and cut around it to give it more stability. I used some clear tape and taped behind them sucker sticks so I could insert them onto the cake. This way they don't get icing on them and you can use them again. (for your family of course)
