This huge cake was SO time consuming... but I like how it came out. It is white cake with bavarian cream filling. MMF frosting and decorations.It's based on a cake from Confetti Cakes that the bride saw in a magazine.

Thanks to all of you! This cake was so much fun, but I had trouble getting the fondant border on without stretching it out of shape. Other than that I'm pretty pleased.

Very pretty cake. I've seen the original too and yours looks very good. Did you make the flowers from the a small fondant cut out? And do you have a special tool to make the rib lines on the ribbon?
