This cake is about 25 years old. It is my sisters cake that was vanilla and buttercream. The pink roses on the base cake were done by my old cake insturctor that happened to be in the same state at the time. She used crushed, strained strawberries to get the color. They tasted good too. I took one cake course from my instructor and that was ten years before this cake was made!
