Space Shuttle Cake
A friend asked me to do a space shuttle cake for her son's 4th birthday. I shaped this one by baking a sheet cake, cutting in half, stacking, shaping, then frosting with buttercream. I used fondant for the windows, wings, and fin (also as supports for the wings). I had fire coming out the back, but you can't tell from this photo.
