Base is made of chocolate cake with buttercream icing. The tree trunk is made of dowl rods that are iced with chocolate buttercream. The tree top was going to be made of white cake baked in a bowl and iced to look like leaves. That kept toppling over, so instead it's made of molded foil covered in icing. The treehouse is made of popsickle sticks. My writing definitely needs some work, but at 11pm the night before the party you get what you get. :-)
