Going Away Cake
This is the first cake i ever made. Not tooooo bad but not the greatest either. She loved it so i guess thats all that matteres. She said the cake was excelent but the frosting was kinda sweet. I'll have to figure out how to fix that. you can see at the top border, my color was very bold, and then thinned out to almost nothing. Better luck next time
I think you did a great job for your first attempt!.
Reminds me of my first few cakes. I think you did a great job. Just keep practicing a reading (especially here) for hints and tips on techniques. It gets easier and more chanllenging at the same time. Tip for less sweet frosting is to add a little salt. :wink:
