Valentines Quickie
I joke aboutt his one all the time... a lady called me and her daughter had elopedon valentines day and they were trying to throw together a reception and i made this one one in about 3 hours...start to finish after I saw the photo i realized that my sister whom I had asked to add the top ruffle didnt push it under far enough...lol ...those little things drive me crazy!

I see the ruffle your talking about, but 3 hours!!! It looks great even if the ruffle wasn't pushed in all the way.
I know what you mean about little details that drive ya crazy...the ruffle doesn't look that bad, just makes the bride and grooms keepsake look extravagant. Did you have the flowers and leafs made ahead of time, and are they royal icing??? It looks awesome in that short of time!!!!
yes...i shoulda made that clear....lol...the roses and leaves were already made...but were the wrong color so I airbrushed them. thanks for all the kind comments and they were GP not royal

I can't really see what you are talking about on the ruffle not being pushed under far enough. It looks great to me. The whole cake from top to bottom is just gorgeous!
Sizes were 10...6...and 4
Well you're the only one who's going to notice that ruffle. Everyone else, myself included, is going to look at this cake and all its elements (ruffles included) and think that this is one super looking cake! And to have completed it in three hours ..... well that makes you super! Wonderful job!
