This cake is a 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, that sits on 6 eight inch round satellites. It is covered in ivory fondant with taupe swirls made of buttercream icing. The topper is a fake hydrangea.

To transport a cake of this size it would go all seperate and then be put together on site. It server 450 people and just decorating took serveral hours.

Was this for a wedding or was it for practice? I have always wanted to put mine together at home to take a good picture, but I haven't ever figured out a trick that wouldn't destroy it when I took it back apart to transport it. The design is really beautiful. The swirls almost look like they have a copper sheen to them. Very nice!!
If you are doing a dummy you can glue all the tiers together and then transport it all at once.

Since this is a dummy I was able to put the whole thing in the car. All the layers a hotgluded together
