Midnight Monet cake for the American Cake Decorating Avant Garde March issue. This cake was so much fun - breaking from traditional cake design to a bold Avant Garde piece. Assymetric inlaid fondant spirals, frilled ruffles and hundreds of tiny silver dragees adorn this cake. When I was searching for my inspiration for this piece, I used both fashion and art to bring this design together.
