I was asked to replicate the colors/piping/appliques of a bride's dress. And, I was told that she loves sunflowers. So we combined the two into one cake. The cake is covered in a crusting cream cheese icing and piped with the same. The mini flowers/appliques are made from gumpaste. The sunflowers on the top (one facing the front and one facing the rear of the cake - which you cannot see), were made from gumpaste and dusted with petal dusts.
