Gravity defying Baymax from the Big Hero 6 movie. This was my son's favorite super hero at the time when he watched the movie, he had asked me right away that he wanted a Baymax cake... really!!!!! So, I made his dream come true and made Baymax for his 3 rd birthday. For this design I added smoke effect using dry ice, I used tubing and threaded it through the legs. When we sang happy birthday to him, the after burners were activated and they blew smoke, it really added a really cool effect giving it a wow! factor!!! . The after burners are made out of isomalt. The design used a secured structured, it was approx 2' tall and it felt like it weighed more than 50 lbs. I modeled him out of chocolate cake, marshmallow, RKT, ganache, fondant, isomalt.
