I got this order for a lady that has Alzheimer, turning 93. The daughter said "she likes red and I trust you to do your thing." I debated and thought about what to do. Finally it hit me, do something that represents her era; hat box came to mind.

The daughter and I were talking one day and she said, "I don't even know if she will realize its her birthday, but at least she will have a special cake." I told her it was going to be okay,and that somehow we all understood cake. When I delivered the cake the sweet little lady with Alzheimer cried. What a special delivery for me to see that even though she couldn't remember what we said just a moment ago she did understand cake...
