Hip Hop "old Skool " Platinum Birthday Cake
I covered this cake with black Satin Ice fondant. The chain and charm was made with white fondant and silver dragees, then painted with nu silver luster dust and silver gliiter platinum dust. This was my first time using Satin Ice fondant and I was very pleased with it. It was a little more forgiving than MMF.
This is 'fresh' old skol lingo...lol...seriously nice job...absolutle love the chain...straight to favs!!

Thanks!! I was pretty happy with the way it turned out. Each time I use fondant (which this was, I think my 8th time), I learn a little bit more. This time I learned that you have to move kinda fast so that it doesn't start to dry out before you finish smothing it out:)
