50Th Bday Cake
This was for a friend of the family, she was turning 50 and her whole party was black and white. My very first stab at a whimsicle cake.....Any tips?

Great job for a first attempt! I like the b&w and the flowers are great. I can't wait to try the topsy turvy style myself, especially since reading the how-to article on this site! :)
I love the top layer, very original. I would've switched the flower and polka-dot layers so it was more black/white/black/white. It's hard to distinguish the flower layer from the swirls, though probably easier in person than in the picture.
I just love it and wouldn't of change a thing, can't wait to try one fantastic job:)
