This was a last minute order. I wasn't too happy with the way it turned out. I keep having problems with humps where the layers come together. This was a strawberry cake with strawberry buttercream icing for the filling. Don't know why I keep having this problem. Any suggestions?
I think they refer to the problem as an icing bulge. Use a stiff buttercream to dam in the filling like BJsGRL mentioned. I think everything else on your cake came out great! Love your flowers.
I used to have the same problem, then learned to dam and fill, then let my cakes set for at least an hour or even overnight for larger cakes, then ice. I love the pink color on this cake! Good luck!

Roses look great and the sweet little flowers & leaves on the sides

awesome rose! And I love the bows! Yep, you need to dam your filling just as mentioned. Everything else looks wonderful!
