I made this cake on very short notice for a friend at work. Her daughter came in at midnight to have her baby, and she asked if I could have a cake made up and ready for her the next day! I got off of work at 5:30 am, and whipped this out and had it back to the hosptial by 2 that afternoon. Cake is red velvet covered with fondant, and I used some pink luster dust for the blanket. I did the cover with half of a lampshade covered in fondant as well.
