The 6 yr old had certain requirements-a mountain, a river and lots of chocolate. So I made the mountain out of rice krispies and covered with melted chocolate chips. Tooties Rolls are the border and logs on the cake. I made a fondant barrel for the candle holder. The cake was dark chocolate fudge. The filling was chocolate buttercream with mashed chocolate oreo cookies. The mom found a gorilla and I tried to paint it to look more like kong, sort of. He loved it.
