This was my first 3 tier wedding cake and the bride wanted fruit cake for the top tier and sponge for the bottom 2 tiers. The frills and twists on the sides of the cake were a first too, this was my first big wedding cake which I made last year and I was so pleased with how it turned out and the bride was delighted too.
