The bride asked for a simple chocolate cake, iced in white with a red ribbon and roses, and plain sponge cupcakes decorated to match. She also wanted me to incorporate a topper she'd bought. Whole thing went swimmingly and she was delighted - just wish I'd been able to get a better photo!
