I took the idea for this from another cc members cake which I can't link as I'm uploading from my phone, but the cake I saw was beautiful. I was a bit disappointed with my attempt, first I made too much cake and it was too tall, then it was top short, then my dome wasn't tall enough, then I didn't make enough roses. It was quite a rush job though, rushed as in decided to make it Thursday, so experimented on a few roses, then stayed up til 2:30am baking on Friday night/sat morning to have the cake ready for my aunties party Saturday night! Anyway, it looks ok ish in this picture... learning learning learning :)
