Pouring Beer Mug Cake For Bud Fan

This cake was so fun to make. My first time working with hot sugar. I followed the recipe here: http://cakecentral.com/recipes/15250/boiled-or-poured-sugar-recipe. I halfed the recipe and once the sugar cool down I shaped it around dowel. Cake is made of four 8 inch rounds, foam is buttercream frosting with tip#12. Hot sugar is your friend!
