I made this for my son's second birthday. It is my first car cake. I made few mistakes that I regret now: wrong choice of frosting, thus falling fondant; fondant not tick enough, made tires out of cake and after handling them they could not stand the force of pushing them into the hole. Other than that I am very satisfied with other details and love the look of the care. Regarding the frosting, I could not find the recipes for frosting that does not call for shortening (I do not use this in my cooking) or that was not ganache. The yellow was organic natural color isolated from vegetables, but the color was pretty vivid for me. All in all, this was fun to make it and great experience.
