Yes. You can get the small ABC cutters at Michael's in the cake department. They also have slightly larger ones in the craft area that come in a round metal tin.

Exactly. Put some fresh buttercream on the top and smash the popcorn into it. Then I squeezed a little buttercream onto each piece and placed it "flowing" out of the bag. Good luck.
Is the white buttercream and the red stripes fondant? Love this cake!
it is buttercream under the fondant. also lots of buttercream under the popcorn to make it stick
