This cake was so fun - the dino turned out to be a little more frightening than I intended, but the 5 year old boy LOVED it! I made a wire structure for the dino and covered that in modeling chocolate I carved some detail into that and then melted compound chocolate, which I colored shades of green. I painted that on to create the skin, for a different sort of look and then added luster dust for interest. the eyes, claws, teeth etc are gumpaste. Little Bam Bam had a modeling chocolate interior that I covered in fondant. Thanks for looking!
