This was actually a cake I did for a baby shower where the mother to be had chosen a cupcake theme for the nursery. However, i think it would be a wonderful child's birthday cake as well. I DID use the silicone cupcake pan which I will NEVER use again~LOL It took me 3 attempts to get a decent one that I could use. I plan to invest in the metal giant cupcake pan in the future :-)
