Square, 3 tier (each being 2 layers), per bride: bottom is chocolate with chocolate ships, middle is butter, top is chocolate, ivory buttercream. Real flowers: peonies (I wont get into how big a deal it was to get these!), roses, baby's breath and greenery. Topper is a custom made (by bride's brother) replica of the brand the groom uses on his ranch. Sheer green ribbon, pearl pins. The box it sits on was my gift to them (they are friends of mine) and took a bit of sneaking. LOL Box is actually an upside down trophy basketball display case. I mounted a light in the "top" to shine down on a wooden box with bride and groom's horse show spurs, trophy belt buckles, a rose and some green for accent, all of this sitting on a mirror to reflect the light. The sneaking came from the brother of the bride having to "steal" the buckles and spurs with out them finding out! ;) We had a minor mishap on the way to the reception hall: the icing MELTED. I had 11 hours in this cake BEFORE we went to the location.... and I pretty much had to REDO all the icing, AND still set up the box, stack and decorate the cake, in 3 and 1/2 hours! Nopressure, right!?? Thanks for looking!
