I used the sugar free Pillsbury devils food cake mixes since my dad is a diabetic but the sugarfree frosting was disgusting so I made a fudge buttercream. Between the layers I added a thin layer of the frosting and almonds to reduce the amount of filling I needed . The flowers are made out of gum paste. Made the carnations because they are my mother's favorite flower. Had a hard time finding a 60 for the top so made one out of gum paste and then dusted it with pearl luster dust.
