Lego Star Wars and Lego Ninjago cake for a double birthday party. The children gave me the mini Lego Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and Ninjago with spinner as models. The figures are fondant (with Tylose) and the spinner is RKT covered in fondant. The figures and spinner are hand-painted. The close-up picture of the Ninjago guy was taken before I steamed the cake to remove the powdered sugar. The only parts of the cake that are not edible are the light sabers. I painted lollipop sticks for those. I intended to have the light sabers in their hands and crossed in front of them like they were fighting, but the hands kept falling off.
