I made this cake for a friend's daughter's 21st Birthday. Its Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream covered in fondant. My apologies to all you NYC bakers as the NYC building skyline is not quite correct - I was starting to flag at 3am on Saturday morning and just need to get some buildings on there! - the cake had to be delivered at 10am that day. The shoe is made from gumpaste as are all the other handpainted decorations apart from the buildings which were made from black fondant and windows done in RI with zebra print ribbon surround.
