Octopus on Coral cake for my nephew Cooper. A terrible experience in fondant as I am an AMATEUR...he did resemble the water sprinkler octopus at the center of the party's theme. O well, the octopus is a confection of rice krispie treats and twizzler candy legs draped in a sheet of marbled under-the-sea blue fondant. He sits upon a bed of coral consisting of a butterscotch pound cake (yummy) frosted in cream cheese icing. The bottom cake is vanilla with buttercream icing, adorned with fondant cutouts of under the sea creatures, seaweed and shells.
