I searched everywhere and could not find "cutout" or "shaped" cake ideas for the Backyardigans, so I did a Buttercream Transfer. I found a free color sheet online, enlarged it where the characters would fit my largest sheet pan then traced the black outlines with a black tubed gel icing, MISTAKE!!!!! The gel would not freeze! When I went to apply the design to the cake, the black came off in strings! It took me forever to "move the black icing back into place. Live and Learn! But, all in all, it was a cute cake!
