Several months ago, I donated my services to a friend who does a yearly charity auction that raises funds to support the Mennonite Central Committee Global Family. MCC Global Family provides education to underprivileged children around the world. The lucky lady who won the auction requested a cake with a fishing theme for her son David's birthday, as well as a dozen cupcakes with purple flowers for her daughter Andee's 14th. Since I've never done a fish cake before, I thought I'd try making a trout. Next time I attempt this, I will definitely have to use an airbrush. And maybe make the fish a little less friendly looking. He looks a little TOO happy.
