Two tier cake for a 1st birthday party. Bottom: Vanilla cake with strawberry filling. Top: Chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling. Buttercream frosting and fondant decorations. This was the second cake I made for a client...I aimed pretty high with this one considering I've only taken 1 cake decorating class in my life! But I am proud of the way it came out and the client (and party guests) were extremely pleased as well.
