This cake was constructed with three 5 inch cakes stacked and iced. I cut 1 inch by 7 inch strips ( I thought it would give a real look of a beer mug) and used a painting technique similair to finishing furniture ( with edible food color). The foam is buttercream icing and the handle is fondant. The hat and coins were added because my friend's b-day is on St. Patricks Day. Hope you enjoy. It;s my first beermug cake
