I made this for my nieces 3rd birthday. It was the first cake I had ever done. I made the tea pot with a ball cake pan and the rest of the tea set out of cupcakes. I made all of the handles, spout, lids, saucers, spoons and flower details a few days prier to making the cake out of gum past. (I think if i were to do this again I would prefer to use fondant for all of the small pieces). I didn't realize when I took these pictures that you can see the toothpicks that were holding the handles in the tea cups. At the time I had forgotten to push them in all the way. They weren't showing when I brought the cake in for the party.
