EVERYTHING IS EDIBLE!!! Purse buckles and hardware made of gumpaste. The rest is fondant :-) For the "C", I used a template I found on this website, printed it on regular printer paper, then layed it against the fondant (I did not cut out the template like you would a stencil) I used a tiny tracing wheel (you could use anything with a soft point) and lightly traced the C to make a very light impression in the fondant. Then I just went over the impressions with a mixture of gold luster dust and yellow petal dust mixed with a little clear vanilla. At first, I only used gold luster dust and clear vanilla (this was a little too transparent). I noticed that adding the yellow petal dust made it pop a little more. The buckles/hardware where a bit heavy, so I used melted candy melts to stick them and the tags to the cake Melted chocolate (candy melts) ROCK! Way better than using royal icing, plus it driies really quick :-) Thanks for looking! :-)
