Cake made for a lady celebrating her birthday in the Bahamas. Fondant was painted by hand with gel colors and luster dust. Sand is crushed vanilla wafers. Seashells are gumpaste pressed into molds (detail doesn't show up in this pic). I wanted to add fish and other sea creatures, but ran out of time...sigh.
