Cake made out of chocolate mud; covered in fondant. The sails were black cardboard and the posts were two dowels taped together with gaffer tape. The skull and crossbones were an edible image, as I had plans to make the sail out of gumpaste. Note I said "HAD planned"! Time got away from me.. :(

The sea was rolled fondant with royal icing of different shades of blue to white. Got many ideas from fellow cc'ers, thanks
