This cake was a lot of issues in the making but I made it through. My daughter wanted a vampire diaries cake and I had no clue what to do. I ended up with a dark chocolate cake with buttercream icing, fondant hearts and grave stone with the names of the characters, and buttercream roses. The vampire lips are gumpaste painted with food coloring and fondant teeth. The blood is red chocolate which clumped and did not turn out right. But to an 11 year old it was perfect.
