this is so phenomenal! Was it for a chinese wedding? It is just so unique!
It was for a bridal shower with a Chinese theme. The place was really decked out in chinese stuff. Somebody spent a very large sum for this event.
Great job! Awesome job with the plaques and writing...I would've done without the shells though...If you needed to cover something, I think a straight line would have been more in-line with an Asian "feng-shui" cake...

You are so right Godiva about the shells, I think they really take away from the whole thing, but I had already done to much before I stepped back to take a look. If I ever do this cake again, I will do it differently.
