this was a cake i made for my boyfriend for a surprise bd party. i had absolutely no idea how to work with fondant. thus the boat turned out rather funky. in any case, the cake is covered in buttercream. fondant people, boat covered in fondant and color flow along the sides of the cake. there was a bunch representing aspects of my bf. a guitar because he plays etc....
