Cinderella Cake

Cinderella Cake on Cake Central

cinderella covered with marzipan, I try to obtain light blue but marziopan is very different from fondant and it's hard to obtain true colors using it, so it was more grey the contour of the cake were airbrushed and once again the blue obtain was really not the one I've tought about... so I had to decorate the cake with many differeten details to take this attention of these strange blues....

I think it looks beautiful. The reason that marzipan is different to fondant when coloring, is that fondant is white and marzipan having a yellow tinge will never give you a true colour. You would have had the same problem if you'd tried pink, you would have gotten an orangey colour instead. Even so, the cake looks absolutely gourgeous. You did a great job.
