That's right, 105th birthday! It was such a busy weekend, but I couldn't turn down such an opportunity! This cake was HUGE and my hand was seriously cramping by the time the cake was finished. The cake is an almond pound with vanilla/almond buttercream. All the lady told me was that she really liked basketweave and she wanted pink--but trusted me to do whatever I thought would be pretty. I was pretty happy with the flowers and the way the colors turned out. Unfortunately, by the time the big day came around, the birthday girl fell and ended up not being able to make the party. They are going to instead hold the party in her room and share the cake with everyone! Happy Birthday, Mrs. Parks!
