I made a w wedding cake for a dear friend and she requested that her entire family was sculpted in gumpaste and put on the cake... She got married AFTER already having 5 kids, so it is a family of 7 ! The cake was a bohemian hippie theme...She wanted the gumpaste people to resemble each family member as closely as possible...These are pictures I took during the sculpting process, before they went on the cake.. this entire process took 5 days.. I worked on the actual cake while i was in between waiting for things to dry with the figures.
