This was a lesson in construction for my husband and me! We went to the local hardware store for some pvc pipe, floor gaskets and particle board. Next thing you know we had a super sturdy cake board! The large cake is a two layer sheet cake. The tree is made from Wilton's wonder mold, covered in mmf and the leaves are half mmf, half regular fondant. The trunk is covered in choc modeling clay. The grotto is also choc modeling clay with melted Jolly rancher. The faries are from the client as a request ot put on the cake.
