This is the hardest cake I've worked on so far - took me FOREVER! It's for a baby shower for friends that are both Chinese. The cake was delivered as a closed box, then "opened" to reveal the baby clothes inside. I used ready made red fondant and added gum trag so the box panels would be stiff and stay upright. Thanks to Florimbio and eneq for their help when I was stuck and nervous about taking this on. I must say I was very disappointed with the Lucks edible gold ribbon - what was supposed to be gold trim looks like masking tape! Oh well...

The lid is styrofoam. The future daddy selected the symbols on each panel of the cake and lid.
